This is to inform that in the interim period starting Monday, 30th March 2020, the Embassy will open only on Wednesdays from 11:00 HRS to 15:00 HRS as a protective measure against the prevailing Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) health threat, until communicated otherwise.

This is to inform that in the interim period, starting Monday, 9th March 2020, the Embassy will be open only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs as a protective measure against the prevailing Corona virus (COVID-19) health threat, and until communicated otherwise.

ADVISORY TO UGANDA TRAVEL TRADE ON CORONA VIRUS BY THE UGANDA TOURISM BOARD (UTB)

Kindly note that this is a travel advisory and NOT a travel ban.

"It is therefore the recommendation and encouragement of the Uganda Tourism Board that intended travelers to Uganda from the affected countries maintain their bookings but delay their travel until a later date when the disease is globally contained no longer considered an outbreak."

UGANDA RECEIVES TEN UNITS OF EMERGENCY VEHICLES FROM JAPAN FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION

The Mission coordinated the donation and eventual shipment of ten (10) units of Emergency Vehicles (Fire fighting Vehicles and Ambulances) from the Japan Firefighters Association to the Ministries responsible for Internal Affairs and Health in Uganda.
